Welcome! My name is Jeannine. I am an evolving creative being and excited to connect with you in this space of creativity, infinite possibility and magic.

As a certified Art Medicine Practitioner, I invite you dive deep into your creative soul to experience the medicine of your own being. Through art medicine and various embodiment practices, including movement and song, we will go on a transformational journey together which will bring you home to yourself and to your true power.

Art Medicine is creativity which is woven with the intention of healing and transforming yourself, which in turn brings healing to your community and the planet. The Art Medicine painting experience is a layered painting process that allows you to access the root of what needs healing and then walk through the door to your own healing medicine. It is both an intentional and intuitive process where you work with your painting as a meeting place between you and the Divine / your wise self.

A portal painting process is a specific kind of layered art medicine painting process which is both ceremonial and creates a doorway to what wants to be creatively birthed through you. We work with Organic Symmetry which creates a structure (similar to the structure of crystals!) which supports you as move through a transition in your life.

I bring my background as a dance/movement therapist into this work as I led groups in community mental health centers, hospitals and addiction treatment centers for fifteen years. In 2020 I opened my own practice, Inner Truth Counseling LLC, which you can read more about here.

After sustaining an injury at the beginning of 2020, I turned to other modes of artistic expression to hold me during lockdown and through the pandemic. I connected with Alexis Cohen’s online offerings at that time through an art therapist friend and recently completed my certification as an art medicine practitioner. Although my background is in dance/movement therapy, the art medicine process acts as a template and holding container for all modes of expression.

Along those lines, I also connected with online song circles during lockdown which carried me through my journey as an entrepreneur and learning to be comfortable with my own voice and truth to guide my business. I love interweaving channeled medicine songs into the art medicine experience as well as expressive movement.

Art Medicine has given me the container to hold all the ways my vessel has changed in the way that it receives and expresses. It can do the same for you. One of the things I love most about it is that it is 100% about the process and the creator (you!) rather than about what you produce. The art piece does hold the energy of your transformational process, though, so it is a powerful talisman to have in your space to remind you of your journey.

Since this is a layered process, I offer packages of 5, 8, 10 or 20 sessions. More sessions will allow for a deeper dive but even a few sessions can begin the process of healing.
